Ryan's Mom

Well, I haven't really lived up to my goal of posting more this month, but I have been busy. Thank you to everyone who has told me they are praying for Lynn. She saw the specialist who confirmed an auto-immune disease (these can only be diagnosed once everything else is ruled out), which is treated by steroids to suppress the immune system. She will be starting that treatment in the next two weeks. The prognosis I guess is guarded, but the steroids should prevent further damage from occurring.

Ryan and I had a quiet Thanksgiving. We ended up going to a buffet! Kerensa was a little picky, but she managed to eat plenty of mashed potatoes. We spent most of our time relaxing - playing with Kerensa, watching movies, or gaming online. We are in the climbing on everything phase of toddlerhood. Everytime Ryan gets up from his computer chair, Kerensa has to get in it.

Ever since having kids, I do not underestimate the value of a relaxed and "uneventful" holiday. Sometimes those are the best ones!

Great photo--I love the sleepy hair.

Keep us updated on Lynn.
