It was really great getting to spend time with my mom and dad and my sister and her family (and my best friend that I've known since kindergarden). Kerensa enjoyed hanging out with her cousins. Thanks Reece, Erika, and Austin for spending time with us! I think the highlight of the trip for me was roasting marshmallows and eating smores in my parent's backyard. Too bad Kerensa slept through that activity (twice!). Living in town, we don't really get that treat.
When we got home, I took Kerensa in for her one year check-up. She weighs 17 pounds 2 ounces. Teeny weeny, I know! She can still wear 6 to 9 month clothes. She also really took off walking the day or so before her birthday. She wants to be down continually so she can walk. I thought she was a fast crawler, but now I look away for a second and she's gone! We took her in for her one year photos (which I'll hopefully be able to post once they come in), and she kept trying to walk off! Well, I think that brings you up to date. Ohh, and she did pretty good with our flights. On the way home, she did fabulous - I don't think she cried any. : )

Glad you had a good trip to Ohio and happy birthday to Kerensa! What a cute cake! It's great to see their first expressions of cake. Hayley took little bits at first and pretty sood, she was getting fists full of cake!

mmmmmmm...chocolate cake! Looks like she had a blast at the party! I can't believe she is one already. Tiny girls are beautiful too!
